Smiths Group announces appointments

Smiths Group plc announces that Michael Herlihy has been appointed to the post of Interim General Counsel and Sarah Cameron appointed to the post of Company Secretary. Michael Herlihy previously held the role of General Counsel at ICI PLC, while Sarah Cameron previously served Smiths Group as Director, Group Secretariat and Business Ethics.

Philip Bowman, Chief Executive, Smiths Group said: 'Today's announcement reflects further progress in reorganizing the Smiths Group and structuring the corporate centre to take advantage of the opportunities that we have to grow the businesses. Michael and Sarah will be important members of the new slimmed down head office team and I am delighted they have accepted their appointments.'
